Majestic Care ABA is new to the area and looking to grow our team! We are seeking dynamic Registered Behavioral Technicians to join us.
· Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred but not necessary.
· Experience working directly with children within a behavioral format preferred but not necessary.
· Completion of 40-hour RBT training course.
· Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate encouraged. (We will train if any individual is not currently registered)
· Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
· 18 years of age or older.
· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
· Basic computer skills desired with willingness to advance skills.
· Accept assignment of location or client as required.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Job Requirements:
- Treat clients with respect and dignity.
- Appropriately engage clients during the session.
- Act as a role model for clients and caregivers.
- Be consistent, reliable, and provide services on agreed scheduled days. In case of cancellation, attempt to make up the session and notify BCBA of any discrepancies.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with family/caregivers.
- At minimum, will be supervised by a BCBA weekly or in accordance with the client’s treatment plan and must be ready to provide feedback to the BCBA on progress.
- Meet with supervisor weekly or in accordance with the client’s treatment plan to discuss progress, program development, and data analysis.
- Notes should be taken daily in Rethink during the last 15 minutes of the session.
- Session notes require parent signatures for in-home therapy sessions.
- Data collection and notes should be taken on devices provided by Majestic Care ABA, not personal devices.
- Keep a weekly reinforcement checklist and inform BCBA if additional resources are needed.
- Maintain clean and organized toys and materials.
- Not responsible for other children in the household.
Job Responsibilities:
- Charting and collecting ABA and skill data on the improvement or lack thereof in the abilities of the child.
- Implement ABA teaching techniques during sessions, such as differential reinforcement, shaping, chaining, task analysis, prompting, fading, and proactive strategies.
- Follow programming objectives and treatment plan (BIP when applicable).
