A vacancy for a Registered Nurse currently exists within the Student Services division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The position is located at the Engle Education Center in West Grove, PA. • Administer tube feedings.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor on a daily basis.
• Documentation of prescription medication administration to students in electronic medical system.
• Implement seizure precautions and treatments.
• Attend field trips and community-based trips.
• Provide tracheostomy care and, if needed, replacement of tracheostomy tube.
• Support with toileting routines in the nurse's office.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Implement nursing care plans as prescribed.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in nursing OR RNprogram completed required
• Experience working with special needs children preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required (must be dated within one year of hire date).

Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day; 185 days per year
