Portage Northern Dental opened it's doors 30 years ago in the Portage Northern area of town. This has given our office the privilege of being a part of the wonderful community surrounding our office. At Portage Northern Dental, our team consists of dedicated, experienced professionals who are kind, friendly and caring. 21‑23/Hour

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow‑up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
• X‑ray certification where state regulations specify

This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
