Position: Surgical Technician (Part-Time)

Position Type: Part-Time Schedule: Weekdays only |
No weekends, no holidays
Location: Ambulatory Surgery Center

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist to join our fast-paced, patient-focused ambulatory surgery center. The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons and the perioperative team by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring safe, efficient surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms by setting up instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure aseptic conditions throughout procedures
  • Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently
  • Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping
  • Perform surgical counts and ensure proper specimen handling
  • Clean and turnover rooms between cases in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, and sterile processing teams
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards (AAAHC, CMS, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Current BLS certification
  • ASC or hospital OR experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
