Base pay range$21.00/hr - $31.00/hr
REPORTS TO: Intensive Behavior Analyst I
SUPERVISES: Provides on‑shift direction of Intensive Residential Technicians I and II
STARTING WAGE: $25.10 - $30.67 per hour; adjusted for relevant education and experience.
FLSA STATUS: Non‑exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES: Support families and individuals served by the Great Lakes Center for Autism Treatment and Research (GLCATR) in making day‑to‑day choices that lead to greater independence and community participation. Assist in the coordination, development, and provision of one‑on‑one instruction and support to children, adolescents and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities served by GLCATR in the context of the established treatment plan, the behavior analytic skills assessment, and the family goals while at the center and in preparation for return back to the home.
Provide personal and/or medical assistance as needed, teach and role‑model appropriate behaviors and daily living skills, and provide behavior management assistance. Understand the likes, dislikes, hopes and dreams of persons receiving services to support them as they make choices and progress toward their goals. Ensure effective and efficient operation of the program during the time in which he/she is on shift, and ensure the appropriate training of all relevant staff in the absence of the GLCATR Assistant Program Coordinators, GLCATR Program Coordinator, or GLCATR BCBAs.
Perform all duties in accordance with overall program goals, agency policy and procedure and all applicable state, federal, and local laws and/or regulations. Implement responsibilities and other actions in accordance with ROI’s Core Values and Vision and Mission Statements.

- Assist in oversight of service plan and behavior plan delivery by Intensive Residential Technician I and II to ensure all services are delivered consistent with identified goals in the treatment plan and IPOS.
- Successfully assume leadership/supervisory role within the Program in the absence of the BCBA or other program supervisors, while maintaining the same standards, expectations, and objectives.
- Complete documentation, including financial, billing, program, research, and agency‑related data, as required by ROI policy and procedure and Supervisor’s instructions. Assist with development and implementation of behavioral protocols and behavior management intervention procedures based on the assessment and treatment plan.
- Assist in training Intensive Residential Technicians to ensure all services are delivered consistent with identified goals in the PCP, behavior plan and skill acquisition programming. IEP and other educational and vocational skills.
- Completes requirement for BCaBA/BCBA supervision as outlined by the BACB, including but not limited to, completing direct and indirect hours, meeting with BCBA supervisor at least bi‑weekly, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner, tracking supervision hours and maintaining required documentation from the university program and/or BACB guidelines.
- Teach and support persons served to complete daily living skills as independently as possible, and assist or perform these tasks if the person served cannot do so independently.
- Through role modeling and teaching, support persons served to develop appropriate friendships and other meaningful relationships.
