Maintenance Technician - Portage Area

Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, machinery, and production lines.
• Install, calibrate, and test new production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance (PM) programs and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo).
• Proficiency in welding, fabrication, or machining.
• Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
