Job Overview

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished pharmaceutical products, including tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, liquids, creams, and gels.
• Prepare standards and samples; operate instrumentation independently (chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer, UV/Spec, HPLC, Raw Material Testing) and apply USP, EP, JP, and Compendium specifications.
• Execute method transfer protocols and feasibility studies.
• Review laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP/GLP regulations, ensuring quality data delivery to clients.
• Read and understand analytical procedures, compendial and client‑supplied SOPs.
• Process data, generate reports, evaluate results, and write investigations.
• Lead projects/test areas and conduct method transfers.

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent directly‑related experience (two years of experience equals one full‑time year of college).
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience in a related industry.

• Good dexterity, positive attitude, solution‑driven.
• Flexibility to work in all laboratory departments—QA, microbiology, chemistry, and general support—as workload requires.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, and comply with company policies.

Position is full‑time, first shift, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Portage, MI are encouraged to apply.
