Quality Supervisor - Portage Area

Salary Range: $68,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

• Supervise, train, and mentor quality control personnel.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to maintain compliance with quality management systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality challenges and improve processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, with prior supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of quality technicians and inspectors.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, metrology, and inspection methodologies.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) or equivalent professional quality certification preferred.

• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, automotive, aerospace).
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or advanced Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Demonstrated experience leading Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
