Job DescriptionDesigns, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. Scope of Work:
There are existing manual tests on our Edge Device (Gateway) and these will need to be automated within our Python-based framework. Differentiator:
We are not looking for IT consultants, but rather for people who have worked on hardware products on edge modules.
