Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is now seeking Regional Class A Truck Drivers in Schoolcraft, MI for a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Pay rate is $30.00 per hour with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday / Home On Weekends.

This is a regional driving position, allowing you to be home on weekends, with consistent routes and a supportive, safety-first culture.

• Safely operate a Class A Tractor/Trailer with an automatic transmission haulinga 53’ dry van trailer.
• Conduct thoroughpre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
• This is a touch freight position utilizing an in-trailer crane and/or pallet jack to un/load.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to traffic, weather, and logistical updates.
• Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and all other necessary documentation.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere strictly toDOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
• Ensure all dunnage is secured before entering public roads.
• Immediately reports any damaged product and/or delivery issues to direct supervisor/transportation manager.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by management.

• ValidCDL Class A license
• 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Valid DOT medical card and ability to passpre-employment drug screening
• Solid understanding ofDOT regulations and compliance standards
• Comfortable operating commercial vehicles in varying conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
