Multi‑Site Controller - Life Sciences, Manufacturing with Financial Reporting & Cost Accounting experience.

Key locations:
Portage, WI (primary) and Poestenkill, NY.

The Multi‑Site Controller will adhere to financial policies and internal controls, improving internal business processes to support the Life Sciences growth/profitability model, and serve as a key staff member of the site/plant leadership team. They will provide financial analysis and recommendations to ensure the site aligns with strategic objectives, act as a proactive business partner aiding decision‑making, and enforce ownership & accountability.

Responsibilities include:

• Month‑end close, reconciliations, and coordination of internal financial reporting.
• Operational analysis of scrap, labor, and overhead cost/variances, including monthly presentations, weekly flash, mid‑month pulse checks, etc.
• Lead the internal controls gap analysis and execution of action plans, ensuring segregation of duties and system/access controls.
• Evaluate site internal controls to maintain alignment with HPS/LS policies.
• Support LS & Operations Controller with AD HOC requests, quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and standard cost development.
• Interact proactively with supervisors, plant leadership, and senior management to provide financial insight.
• Research issues, anticipate opportunities, and provide answers before questions arise.
• Support CI/WCM initiatives, ensuring countermeasures and projects have clear financial objectives.
• Coordinate physical inventory and cycle count program to meet site and SBU goals.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (four‑year college) – required.
• Master's Degree within Business or related field – preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience in a plant environment (manufacturing), roles such as Cost Accountant or Plant Controller – required.
• Experience in a corporate/finance environment – preferred.
• Operations experience within a regulated industry – preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, QAD, ORACLE) – required.
• Travel up to 15% for business meetings/training.

National pay range: $111,000 to $177,000 per year (base pay may vary by region and other factors). Annual bonus target 15% of base salary; total target cash range $127,650 to $203,550.
