Senior Grower Accountant

• Prepare financial statements
• Manage vendor maintenance, relations & new credit apps (farms)
• Manage AP turnaround/processing policies
• Manage team schedules and workloads
• Lead team meetings
• Upload farm budgets into ERP system
• Approve check runs (farms)
• Reconcile bank accounts (farms)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or closely related field required; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with computers including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Quick Books and/or industry related software such as Famous.
• Organization; prioritizing time and tasks appropriately; ability to communicate with growers (clients) and management. Attention to detail and ability to follow through on all tasks/responsibilities.

• Teamwork - Work as a member of the Farming Division accounting team to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy and operate within a culture that aligns with the company’s values, mission and vision
• Conflict Management – Follow Agri Care-defined best practices for addressing conflicts with other department team members, Agri Care management, vendors, clients and within the organization as a whole
• Perform other duties as assigned by the needs of the business.
• Ability to present oneself with professional appearance and behavior in accordance to Employee Handbook Policies.
• Ability to meet all safety requirements and pass a drug and alcohol test (Safety Sensitive positions, only).

• Agricultural accounting/grower accounting preferred.
