Basic Function
Kern Community College District accepts applications for part-time, hourly faculty pools on a continuous basis. Qualified applicants will be contacted if a need arises within the department. Applications remain active for up to two years.

The district is seeking part-time adjunct instructors for Administration of Justice, with a starting salary of $66/hour, which may vary based on assignment and LHE formula. Refer to the collective bargaining agreement or HR for details.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years related professional experience;
OR Associate's degree and 6 years related professional experience;
OR Valid credential authorizing full-time teaching of Administration of Justice at the California Community College level;
OR equivalent qualifications, with supporting documents and application for equivalency.

Candidates must demonstrate sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of students.

Knowledge & Abilities
Candidates should demonstrate knowledge in the discipline and abilities such as effective communication, curriculum development, assessment of student outcomes, and technology proficiency.
