Seeking an experienced Pharmacist in the Porterville, California area who is looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company.

Candidate will be working at the hospital’s in house pharmacy during the AM shift. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director and/or the Assistant Pharmacy Director, assures safe and timely preparation and delivery of pharmaceuticals to patients and employees of the Hospital. Is responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served: i.e. Neo-Nate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.

Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups. Provides requested information about drugs to physicians and other Hospital personnel.

Acute care or Hospital inpatient experience preferred, but not required

Meditech experience is a plus
