American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Wound Care Center position requiring a CA RN license and BLS certification.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS certification required
- Wound care certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university preferred (BSN), or 1-2 years of wound care experience
- Med surg, home health, or wound care experience preferred
- Work in a hospital-based Wound Care Center
- 8-hour day shift, 40 hours per week (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Floating not required
- Provide patient care in the Wound Care Center including organizing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care per hospital and nursing standards
- Must be available to work scheduled hours including holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Required to participate in emergency and community disaster response as a designated disaster service worker per the California Emergency Services Act
- Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Previous permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
- First-time travelers are not considered for this position
