Level 3 Early Years Educator

We are recruiting enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years professionals to support children in Nursery and Reception classes across a range of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools in Lambeth. The Role

As an Early Years Educator, you will:

Support the delivery of engaging and creative Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learning activities
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences
Observe, assess, and record children's progress where required
Support children with varying learning needs and abilities
Encourage positive behaviour and foster strong relationships with pupils and families

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working within an EYFS setting, nursery, or primary school
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Desirable

Experience supporting children with additional needs
Knowledge of phonics programmes
School-based experience within Nursery or Reception classes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
