Female Support Worker – Ty Dyffryn, Porth. Hourly rate from £12.60 to £12.80. Full time 40.25 hours per week.

Orbis Education and Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ty Dyffryn. Our goal is to support and nurture the young people in our care as they transition into adulthood.

Ty Dyffryn is a 2-bedroom home based in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taff, supporting young adults as they transition into adulthood.
What You’ll Do- Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.
- Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
- Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of a supportive senior team.
- Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
- A caring nature, resilience, and great communication.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting young people with transport to school, appointments, and activities.
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
