Tesco Customer Service Desk Colleague pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.

Providing flexible support across the Customer Service Desk and wider store, including helping customers with queries, processing returns and exchanges, resolving issues, offering product guidance, and delivering a friendly, professional service that ensures customers leave feeling valued and supported.

Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.

Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.

A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions.

The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured, having had a great experience at the Customer Service Desk.

The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re resolving queries, processing returns, offering product guidance, or knowing when to involve a manager to ensure the best outcome.

A positive, team focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.
