Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Then get in touch! We are recruiting an exciting position for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients working within the Portbury area.

The Role:

You will be responsible to carry out routine reactive and planned maintenance the manufacturing plant. You also will be expected to resolve any process issues that may arise and cannot be solved by the operators or need special technical assistance.

You will be required to undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process, in a cost-effective manner whilst meeting strict Health and Safety standards.

The shift pattern is

* Week 1 PM – 1400 to 2200 Mon to Fri

* Week 2 AM – 0600 to 1400 Mon to Fri

* Week 3 Nights – 2200 to 0600 Sun to Fri morning

Experience/Qualifications

* HNC, City & Guilds or time-served apprentice with appropriate engineering qualifications.

* Experience with in a similar role ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment, if not food, experience within any manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

* Electrically or biased, or multi-skilled.

* PLC experience highly desirable.

* Experience of SAP highly desirable.
