Barker Ross are currently looking for a Stock Controller in BS20 post code area, for a leading cold store comany looking to expand their ever growing operations team. This position will be temp to perm.

Role Overview :
Barker Ross are recruiting for an Inventory Control Technician to join our team. You'll work both in the office and in our cold-storage warehouse (around
-18°C). With full PPE provided, your main job is to keep our inventory accurate and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform daily inventory counts and keep records up to date.

· Manage data related to ordering, receiving, storing, and shipping products.

· Order and track materials and supplies.

· Review orders, invoices, and stock data for accuracy.

· Investigate stock issues like missing or damaged items.

· Verify product details and ensure shipments are correct.

· Help with physical inventories and recommend disposal of damaged stock.

· Safely use warehouse equipment following all safety rules.

Who We're Looking For:

· Previous experience in inventory or stock control is a plus.

· Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems or willing to learn.

· Comfortable using Microsoft Office and working with data.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Able to work well in a team and communicate clearly.

· Comfortable working in a cold environment (PPE provided).

· Experience with warehouse equipment is preferred, but training will be provided.
