Staffmark is seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to support equipment and facility maintenance at a leading manufacturing facility in Portland, IN.

Pay: $33-$38/hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and electrical systems (AC/DC, 480/240/120V).
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools.
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain molding machines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and support systems.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and assist with continuous improvement projects.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Communicate repair needs and status with supervisors.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or Associate's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (plastics or molding preferred).
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.
