About the Position

The company is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead the day-to-day operations and financial performance of large-scale construction projects and/or joint ventures. This high-level leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable project execution while upholding the company’s culture and standards.

As a Project Executive, you will provide oversight of all business and operational aspects of your assigned projects, serve as a strategic partner to both internal and external stakeholders, and play a vital role in team leadership, client engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive-level oversight for large-scale projects and/or joint venture operations

  • Ensure safety, profitability, and quality across all phases of the project lifecycle

  • Monitor key performance indicators and lead efforts to improve project outcomes

  • Partner with estimating teams to develop winning strategies and support preconstruction efforts

  • Actively mentor and coach project teams, promoting career development and team well-being

  • Collaborate with HR on succession planning, recruiting, and workforce development

  • Troubleshoot and resolve project challenges, ensuring alignment with client expectations

  • Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and community engagements

Requirements
  • 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil construction

  • Proven success managing large-scale infrastructure projects or joint venture operations

  • Strong leadership presence with a passion for team growth and development

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills

  • Strong understanding of construction cost control, risk management, and scheduling

  • Process-driven and highly organized, with a sharp eye for detail

  • Effective negotiator with a client-focused mindset
