The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking Intensive Instructional Assistants (IIA) assigned to work at the Lyndon Town School. The IIA will support early childhood classrooms and students with special needs by creating and implementing behavior and instructional support programs in consultation with the grade level special educator and classroom teacher.
Responsibilities include:
assessing individual student needs, collecting observable data to meet IEP program goals, providing goal‑directed services to help students access instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional and independent manner. Candidates must successfully complete the Para Pro assessment or hold an associate’s degree or higher.
Background check, including fingerprinting, is required upon employment. The pay range for this position is currently $19.95/hr – $25.80/hr.
About the SchoolThe Lyndon Town School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK‑8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities, as well as fine and performing arts venues.
