Miller’s Run School seeks a highly qualified elementary teacher to join our team. Responsibilities include daily typical classroom responsibilities, instruction, planning, grading, reporting, assessment, duties, etc. Familiarity with Responsive Classroom, UFLI, Bookworms, and Bridges Math are a plus.
Miller’s Run School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools – Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy – or another high school of their choosing.
We are located about 3 hours from Montreal, Boston and Portland, ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues. Our communities attract wholesome families, faculty and staff.
