Wright‑Pierce, an award‑winning, multi‑discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Water Group. This role involves planning, design and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage and treatment projects.
Salary range: $78,000 – $125,000/yr. Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications and location.
Responsibilities- Planning, design and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage and treatment projects
- Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other team members
- Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
- Master planning, asset management
- Writing technical reports, memos, communications
- Working on pilot studies as assigned
- Travel to sites; field work visits for projects in various phases
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Build strong relationships with coworkers and colleagues
- Continual learning and ongoing professional development
- Excellent personal organization and time management skills
- Self‑motivated and results‑driven, possessing strong attention to detail
- 3‑5 years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of water projects
- Commensurate experience with local, state and federal regulatory and funding processes
- MS Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams - AutoCAD and GIS knowledge is a plus
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Must have Engineer in Training Certification
