Wright‑Pierce, an award‑winning, multi‑discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Water Group. This role involves planning, design and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage and treatment projects.

Salary range: $78,000 – $125,000/yr. Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications and location.

• Planning, design and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage and treatment projects
• Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other team members
• Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
• Master planning, asset management
• Writing technical reports, memos, communications
• Working on pilot studies as assigned
• Travel to sites; field work visits for projects in various phases

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Build strong relationships with coworkers and colleagues
• Continual learning and ongoing professional development
• Excellent personal organization and time management skills
• Self‑motivated and results‑driven, possessing strong attention to detail

• 3‑5 years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of water projects
• Commensurate experience with local, state and federal regulatory and funding processes
• MS Office Suite:
  Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
• AutoCAD and GIS knowledge is a plus

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering

• Must have Engineer in Training Certification
