A Drive Test Technician executes mobile and stationary RF testing to validate wireless network performance, supporting engineering teams by collecting field data for coverage, capacity, and quality optimization across 5G technologies. This position requires 100% travel within the Northeast region, covering the states of MN, VT, NE, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, and VA.
Responsibilities- Operate drive test equipment (e.g., TEMS Pocket, X‑CAL, QXDM) in vehicles or on foot to collect RF data across designated routes and clusters.
- Perform speed tests.
- Capture logs for RSRP, SINR, PCI, throughput, and scanner data; upload results to centralized servers for post‑processing and validation.
- Follow test file naming conventions.
- Communicate with Circet and client points of contact throughout the process and to escalate issues as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with wireless technologies: LTE, VoLTE, CDMA, 5G, MIMO, Carrier Aggregation strongly preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in RF testing or field technician roles desired.
- Experience with DAS, small cells, or CRAN installations is beneficial.
- Good computer skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime.

Pay RangePay Range in the United States: $20 – $32 per hour, based on geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunities based on company and individual goals and performance.
