Our Transportation practice includes civil engineering, bridge and structural engineering, resident engineering and inspection, bridge inspection, and geotechnical engineering. We specialize in analysis, design, evaluation, monitoring, and rehabilitation for a wide variety of transportation infrastructure projects.

About the role

As a CADD Drafter in the Portland, Maine office and a core member of our Transportation Practice, you will be involved in all phases of bridge design and construction support drawing development. You will work with a team of multidisciplinary engineers while also collaborating with other CADD personnel. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Your daily tasks will be to prepare technical plans and drawings.
  • Your day-to-day will have you working with engineers to create sections and details of architectural, civil, and structural designs.
  • The review and evaluation of work for technical accuracy will be a core component of this role for you.
  • You will be guided by corporate quality control standards within the discipline you work with.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting for engineering firms.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Micro Station.
  • Familiarity with Open Roads Designer preferred.
