• Develop plans and specifications for airport design projects.
• Analyze and prepare engineering reports and construction cost estimates.
• Perform drafting tasks in AutoCAD and Civil3D to generate plan sheets.
• Assist with construction administration and inspection tasks, including field work at project sites (weekends and nights as needed).
• Read and interpret FAA Advisory Circulars, geotechnical reports, and survey data to incorporate into project designs.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college (or ability to obtain the degree within nine months of hire).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks for airport site access.
• Experience with the following:
  • AutoCAD and/or Civil3D software
  • Civil/transportation design coursework
  • Construction field tasks (grading, utilities, drainage, paving, material testing, surveying)
  • Microsoft Excel, Word and Project software
