Job DescriptionThis role requires environmental permitting experience in Massachusetts and other New England states, with particular expertise in the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10.00), S. 404/401 of the CWA, MEPA, Ch. 91 and related land‑use regulations. The successful candidate will support a wide range of projects, attend and lead public presentations, and work within a team environment. The position is based in Massachusetts or nearby New England states and can be remote with some project, client and site meetings.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
- BA/BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Sciences or related field plus 8 years of experience or equivalent.
- Environmental permitting experience required.
- US citizenship required.
- MS and 12+ years of permitting experience preferred.
- Background in Wetland Science, Policy and Land‑Use Regulations desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills required.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
