The Town of Lisbon is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Finance Director to serve as our Chief Financial Officer. This is your chance to lead in a growing community at the heart of Androscoggin County.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Town’s financial operations including accounting, budget administration, payroll and purchasing.
- Manage treasury functions including investments, debt service, and cash flow. Forecasting.
- Lead the preparation of financial statement, audits, and required state and federal filings.
- Supervise, develop, and support the Finance Department team.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Town Manager and Town Council on fiscal matters.
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related fields desired (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- A thorough knowledge of and experience with MUNIS is preferred.
- Significant experience in municipal or public finance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and municipal budgeting practices.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and public presentation skills.
- Commitment to innovation, transparency, and building public trust.
- Salary Range: $98,238 to $145,163, based on experience.
- 4‑day, 36‑hour workweek (Monday – Thursday) for improved work‑life balance.
