Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑3:30 pm
In collaboration with the client’s employee healthcare team, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs focused on the prevention of work‑related injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment.
Key Accountabilities- Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
- Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.
- Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation, and care management.
- Collects and evaluates program data to support ROI process, manages and reports data for their assigned plant.
- Develops, promotes, and markets wellness and general education programs.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field; or licensed/certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state you are working.
- 2+ years’ experience in health and fitness.
- Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
- First Aid certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute preferred.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
- Demonstrated skill in program development, implementation, marketing, and promotion.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Personal Training certification from an industry‑recognized and Health Fitness‑approved provider a plus.
- Understanding of Biomechanics, Occupational Safety and experience working in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing).
- Ability to travel to three different locations in the area twice per month.
Compensation: $63,000/Year – $70,000/Year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Join our team and you may be eligible for a $1,000 sign‑on bonus!
