Travel CT Technologist – $2,258 per week – Job  at Vivian Health

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT technologist for an 13‑week contract in Portland, Maine. The position is available immediately and fulfills a travel nursing role with 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
  • Sanitize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain informed consent.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
  • Assess CT scans for technical quality and troubleshoot image variables.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography; ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
  • Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with prior CT imaging strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.
Contract Details
  • Pay: $2,070 – $2,258 per week (subject to confirmation).
  • Duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension.
  • Shift: 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, NOC shifts available.
