Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Outpatient Therapist located in Portland, ME. The Outpatient Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy to a diverse client base. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role also includes participating in clinical meetings and contributing to client care planning.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in conducting therapeutic sessions, including individual, group, and family therapy
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in documentation and maintaining client records
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with proper licensure in the state of Maine (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT)
  • Commitment to upholding ethical therapeutic practices and a client-centered approach
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities is a plus
