Summary

The Scheduler role triages needs and books/schedules interpreter services across Maine Health. The Scheduler monitors procedure room schedules to maximize utilization and efficient patient flow, answers basic information questions about Interpreter & Translation Services, and provides general customer support on behalf of the department.

Qualifications
  • Education: A high school diploma is preferred; two to five years of experience in a health care setting is desirable but not required.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    N/A
  • Experience: Experience in Interpreter Services field and medical practices and procedures preferred.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements

    Required:

    Skill in coordinating schedules with multiple variables; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Familiarity with EMR, Intranet, and other platforms used within a healthcare environment.
