Position: TRAVEL CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST (CST) CONTRACT PORTLAND, MAINE

TRAVEL CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST (CST) CONTRACT – PORTLAND, MAINE

POSITION OVERVIEW: Soliant is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel contract assignment in Portland, Maine. This full-time opportunity supports a high-acuity Operating Room environment and is ideal for CSTs with strong Level I trauma experience and broad general surgery exposure.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:

  • Travel CST contract
  • Full-time
  • Day shifts
  • Schedule options: 4x12s or 3x12s
  • Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 48 preferred, 36 acceptable
  • Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 4 weeks (12-hour shifts)
  • Call required: one overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Additional specialty call scheduled per service line when applicable (rack up some extra money this winter!)
  • Start as soon as possible

REQUIREMENTS:

  • NBSTSA certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent Level I trauma Operating Room experience
  • Strong experience in emergency general surgery, trauma, and burns
  • Experience with Da Vinci robotics required
  • Experience across thoracic, liver, and complex general surgery cases
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR setting
  • Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome
