Position: Hospital Reporting and Cost Growth Program Analyst 1

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Support the ongoing operations of the Sustainable Health Care Cost Growth Target Program and the Hospital Reporting Program
  • Coordinate data submissions and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with health insurers, hospitals, and providers to manage data collection and validation processes
  • Prepare materials, reports, and presentations for advisory and partner meetings
  • Work with teams across Health Analytics, Health Policy, and other state agencies to promote transparency and accountability
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a related degree
  • Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years of technical-level experience
  • At least one year of experience in supporting or coordinating data collection and reporting, preferably in health care
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and pay attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in a customer/client-facing position
  • Knowledge of health care cost data and/or hospital data
  • At least one year of experience developing reports and written communications, including policy briefs and presentations
