Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 public school in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support for elementary students, focusing on AAC devices and compensatory services. This contract position starts ASAP and runs through the end of the school year, offering 4-10 hours weekly across 1-2 days.
Qualifications and Requirements:

* Valid SLP license in Maine

* Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

* Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings

* Knowledge of AAC devices and compensatory service strategies

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess and treat speech and language disorders in elementary-aged students

* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

* Utilize AAC devices effectively to support student communication

* Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

* Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
