Overview
Advisor Database Administrator – Join Gainwell Technologies to build technology solutions that improve health and well‑being.
Responsibilities- Participate in client/project meetings for needs assessment and design review.
- Analyze user needs, develop technical, structural, and organizational specifications (access methods, job control, security, etc.).
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases for internal and external users.
- Create, document, and implement standards and models to monitor and enhance database capacity and performance.
- Develop data import/export routines to automate data loading.
- Build Windows screens and reports.
- Analyze complex applications prior to production release.
- Develop backup, recovery, data archive, and purge procedures.
- Produce supporting technical documentation.
- Research emerging technologies and tools for applicability to the field.
- Prepare reports and recommendations on new or changing processes/products.
- Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel.
- 8+ years of Database Engineering, Design, and Development experience.
- Proficiency with SQL Server (AOAG), Postgre
SQL, Aurora Postgre
SQL, AWS RDS, and EC2. - Experience in multi‑tenant environments and database development methodologies.
- Skilled in Windows development languages, scripting (Power Shell, SQL performance tuning), and monitoring tools (Solar Winds DPA, SQL Query Store).
- Postgre
SQL scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automating DBA tasks. - Experience with Postgres monitoring tools such as pg Admin, Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS Cloud Watch.
- United States remote opportunity.
- Video cameras required during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.

Salary$88,900.00 – $ per year; base pay may vary by location, equity, and experience.
