Responsibilities- As an Account Manager within the Business Insurance Commercial Lines team, manage client relationships within your own assigned book of accounts and provide professional insurance services by coordinating with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments.
- Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations, complete applications, prepare submissions, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and prepare proposals according to agency standards.
- Resolve billing issues, respond to policy coverage questions in a timely and professional manner, and prepare exposure and premium comparisons, renewal reviews, and renewal proposals.
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Experience in managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including the renewal process
- Solid coverage, underwriting and risk management knowledge
- Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as agency management systems and web browser software
- Exceptional time management and organization skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or related fields
- Insurance designations
- Experience with Epic
