We are seeking an associate attorney to join our practice as part of our growth and long‑term succession planning. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of private practice experience in a sophisticated trusts and estates practice. Previous experience with review and preparation of estate tax, gift tax, and/or fiduciary income tax returns is preferred. The ideal candidate should be motivated, bright and personable, possess superior writing skills and judgment and have excellent academic credentials.

Maine bar admission is preferred, but we will assist with admission to the Maine bar for the right person who is committed to practicing in Maine with outstanding experience in another jurisdiction, a recent LLM in Taxation, or coursework in trusts and estates and estate/gift tax as well as a demonstrated interest in our field.
