The Assistant Brewer
, a crucial role in our team, will report to the Head Brewer and collaborate with the entire Orange Bike staff. Your support is vital to the entire brewery’s production, and your contributions will be valued and integral to our operations.

This role presents a unique opportunity for someone with a strong curiosity to learn (or deepen their knowledge of) all aspects of brewery operations. As a production generalist, you will assist with brewing, filtration, packaging, cleaning and sanitation, and inventory management, among other tasks. In this position, you are accountable for:

  • Brewing, racking, and filtering beer
  • Keg washing and keg filling
  • Canning, including both pack-off labor and machine operations
  • General brewhouse cleaning and maintenance (20+% of the job is cleaning!)
  • Accurate documentation and lab work
  • Draft line cleaning and draft maintenance
  • Forklift and motorized lift operations, receiving/shipping, warehousing
  • Assist with inventory management and control

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to bend over, twist, kneel, stand
  • Must be able to push and pull 165 pounds
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
