Responsible for transferring product onto a conveyor, which will then be transferred to a platform and loaded onto dollies or floor‑loaded onto trailers, that are then shipped to customers. Individuals are responsible for the safe and efficient loading of products onto trailers.

Location:

Portland, Maine

• Load and unload trucks in a fast‑paced warehouse setting
• Move, wrap, and palletize customer items
• Scan and organize customer items using our self‑built mobile app
• Must ensure there are no mixed pallets or tumbled cases put into the high‑rise for storage.
• Must ensure the proper stock age and code rotation for all products in the assigned area
• Must be able to accurately pull orders in assigned areas without errors.
• Must be able to load trucks/trailers securely if/as required.
• Must clean all machine pits in the assigned area on an ongoing basis (weekly).
• Responsible for the cleansing of the palletizer and infeed and discharge lanes.
• Must follow all GMP’s, HAACP – SQF and all DFA policies and procedures.
• Will serve as the back‑up inventory control person for nightly inventories

Repeated lifting, pushing and pulling of greater than 50 pounds is common practice for this position. Maintain physical conditioning sufficient to accomplish this level of work demand. Cold (Refrigerated) work environment. 4‑5 day work schedule.
