* Families in Transition Volunteer Engagement VISTA is part of Goodwill NNE’s mission to prevent and break the cycle of homelessness. The experienced case management team works directly with individuals and families exiting homelessness and connects them to services that support long‑term housing stability. We provide low‑income and affordable housing, adult and family emergency shelters (180+ beds), recovery housing, meals, a food pantry, and outreach programs in the Greater Manchester Community.
Duties
The Ameri Corps VISTA Member will develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies that support the organization’s mission. This role focuses on recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers who provide critical resources, advocacy, and support for individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. By fostering a culture of compassion and service, the VISTA will ensure volunteers have meaningful opportunities to make a difference while strengthening community partnerships and maximizing volunteer impact.
