RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• 36 guaranteed hours per week

• 6 weekend shifts (Friday/Saturday nights) required per time block

• Float requirements to NICU, inpatient pediatrics, and pediatric resource RN role

• 4+ years of experience required

• Pediatric ICU experience required

• Required certifications: PALS, BLS

•

Preferred experience:

EPIC, level 1 trauma, post open heart surgery, CRRT, ECMO

• Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2

• Work with Abbott Plum pumps, CADD pumps, Medfusion pumps, Philips monitors, and Drager ventilators

• Use EPIC electronic medical record system

• Provide critical care for mixed unit with all diagnoses

• Any color scrubs acceptable, personal scrubs permitted

• Must be a team player

This healthcare organization operates a specialized 8-bed pediatric intensive care unit with 2 additional swing beds on the pediatric inpatient unit. The facility provides critical care services for pediatric patients with various diagnoses and maintains advanced medical equipment and technology. The organization offers level 1 trauma services and specialized procedures including post open heart surgery care, CRRT, and ECMO capabilities.
