RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as RN circulator for busy ENT/Pedi/Plastics team in Academic Level 1 Trauma Center

• RN who scrubs preferred but not mandatory

• Minimum 2 years experience in OR setting required

• Must be comfortable with precepting

• Handle varied cases including neck dissections, free flap repair, diep flaps, pediatric general and thoracic surgery, airway management, OMFS, and dental procedures

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with occasional day shift and call

• 36-40 guaranteed hours weekly available

• Occasional weekend hours required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

• PALS preferred but not necessary

• AORN certification would be beneficial

• Must be able to function in fast-paced environment

• Treat patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric ages

• Work with EPIC EMR system

• Scrubs provided by facility

• No floating to other units required

This academic medical center operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive healthcare services. The facility features a busy operating room department specializing in ENT, pediatric, and plastic surgery procedures. The organization utilizes advanced medical equipment and technology to support complex surgical cases including laryngoscopy, sinus surgery, facial plastics and trauma, cochlear implants, oral surgery, complex head and neck cancer surgery, tonsillectomy, and tympanoplasty procedures.

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
