RN - PICU

Portland, ME

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

We are seeking a traveling RN to cover a full-time vacancy in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The unit is currently managing staffing due to one employee on extended leave and three vacancies. Our team is looking for a qualified and dedicated nurse to provide critical care to our pediatric patients.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Float to NICU, inpatient pediatrics, and Peds resource RN role as required.

• 4+ years of Pediatric ICU experience is required.
• Certifications:
  
  PALS, BLS.
• Preferred experience:
  
  EPIC, level 1 trauma, post open-heart surgery, CRRT, and ECMO.
