We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a locum tenens assignment in Maine. This full-time opportunity starts on Nov 24, 2025, offers a 255-day assignment, and features day shifts from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. The schedule is open for 2025 and continues extensively through 2026, and candidates comfortable working on call are encouraged to apply.

Pediatric anesthesia experience is a plus but not required, as pediatric dental cases occur two days each month.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer anesthesia care to patients under medical supervision
  • Work primarily independently with a supervising physician available (5:1 ratio)
  • Provide anesthesia services for a range of cases, including pediatric dental cases two days per month
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed
  • Ensure patient safety and monitor patient status throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with the supervising physician and healthcare team

Additional Information

  • Must have a valid Maine license
  • Required certifications:
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric experience is not required but is considered a plus
