American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.
Requirements- Active RN license (ME or Compact) required upon submission
- BLS and other AHA certifications required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
- Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
- 13-week night shift assignment, 19:00-07:30
- Uses Epic EMR
- Float policy of 25 miles between facilities as needed
- Candidates residing within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local, which may affect pay rate
- Local travelers are not eligible for renewal or extension of contract
- Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited on the unit
- RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
- Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should disclose this upon application
