Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 3+ years of experience and both pre-op and post-anesthesia care skills.

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• 3+ years of PACU experience required
• Experience in both pre-op and PACU settings required
• AHA certifications accepted if non-AHA equivalents are submitted, with AHA completion required before start
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required

• Work in the Pre/Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Surgical patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Varied day shifts including 6a-6p, 8a-8p, and 9a-9p schedules
• Minimal weekend hours required
• No call requirements
• Float required to a different PACU with the same patient population, within a 25-mile radius between facilities
• Uses Epic EMR
• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients in pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery phases
• No specific scrub color required
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
