Overview

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Portland, ME is seeking an energetic, friendly Bartender to mix and serve beverages to our guests. This team‑player will help deliver a memorable bar experience in our fast‑paced, welcoming environment.

• Prepare alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks according to Applebee's standards.
• Serve guests and servers quickly and with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Monitor drink inventory and report shortages to management.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies, including proper hand‑washing and the use of protective gear.

• Must be 21 years old or older (per state law).
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Remain stationary and move well‑paced for up to four hours per shift.
• Reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly; transport plates, glasses, and baskets 30+ times per shift.
• Wear protective hand coverings, face coverings or masks, and use disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout the shift.

• Competitive wages (average $15.50 – $25.00 per hour in Portland, ME).
